Enjoy nearly 600 feet of water frontage along the southeast shore of the crystal clear waters of Big Blue Lake. This 25-acre park is a Muskegon County “Hidden Gem”, the perfect place for picnicking, fishing, boating, water-skiing and camping. Blue Lake County Park has a small day use area and swimming beach on Big Blue Lake with picnic tables and grills. Located just east of the day use area is the Blue Lake campground.
The campground has 25 campsites each site has; electric, a picnic table, fire pit and a water spigot. The campground has a modern restroom with ADA showers. A sanitary dump station is located to the north of the campground. Campers may check into their campsites and buy wood or ice at the Park Office that is ran by the Blue Lake Caretaker. The office is located to the north of the bathhouse.
Deremo Boat Launch is a short 1.5 mile drive from the campground, located on the north side of the lake. To get to Deremo Boat launch from the campground; turn left(north) onto Nichols Rd. and then right(east) on Fruitvale Rd., then left into the boat launch parking lot at the top of the hill.
