Muskegon County Parks has three modern campgrounds, and 2025 reservations are available! Camp guests can choose from Blue Lake Park, Pioneer Park, or Meinert Park, and ADA-accessible campsites are available.

Blue lake Camping

With 600 feet of Big Blue Lake beach frontage and the Deremo Boat Launch, Blue Lake County Park offers 25 modern campsites, each featuring:

  • Water hookup
  • Electric hookup
  • Picnic table
  • Fire pit

The campground includes open and shaded site options, a restroom with ADA-accessible showers, and a sanitary dump station to the north. $38/night

Pioneer Park Camping

Pioneer County Park, our most popular option, features 235 modern campsites with stair access to 2,000 feet of sandy Lake Michigan beach frontage. Each includes:

  • Water hookup
  • Electric hookup
  • Picnic table
  • Fire pit

The campground includes open and shaded site options, a restroom with ADA-accessible showers, and a sanitary dump station. $38/night. For September 26th & 27th, 2025, the rate is $50/night for the Halloween Harvest Festival 2025)

Meinert Park Camping

Sitting on 182 acres of forested dunes with access to 2,000 feet of sandy Lake Michigan beach frontage, Meinert County Park features 67 modern campsites with full hookup capabilities. Each site includes:

• Water hookup

• Electric hookup

• Picnic table

• Fire pit

The campground includes restrooms, showers, and a sanitary dump station. $45/night

Cancelation &

All Campsite/Lodge/Shelter/Rental Cabin cancellations are made on the reservation website. Cancellations made 7 business days prior to your scheduled arrival date will incur the $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel 6 days or less prior to the arrival date, you will forfeit the first night’s fee or $75, whichever is the lesser amount. Once you have checked into your campsite, no refunds will be given for early departures.

Muskegon County Parks accepts cash and checks on-site. Credit cards can be used for online campsite reservations and on-site at Pioneer Park, Meinert Park, Twin Lake Park, and Blue Lake Park. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
