Blue Lake Campground Caretaker

The Caretaker is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the day-use area and campground. Responsibilities include park maintenance, rule enforcement, and keeping the restroom facilities clean. The caretaker will live on-site in the park from May through September. This is a contracted position and the Caretaker is not a Muskegon County Park employee.
Park Ranger/Dock Security
Currently Hiring! Part time.
Dock Security Rangers are responsible for patrolling the Heritage Landing Dock facility when cruise ships are in port. Security guards assist with docking the ships, setting up security barricades, checking cruise ship IDs, providing great customer service to the public and are responsible for reporting any situations at the dock to local authorities. Candidates must be in good physical condition, able to lift 50lbs, and pass a Homeland Security screening to be issued a TWIC card.
Park Crew Leader
Currently Hiring! Full-time, seasonal May through September. Enforces park rules and coordinates assigned work crews in a variety of park security, custodial, and maintenance activities at Pioneer Park.
Park Ranger/Dock Security

Park Rangers work in campgrounds and day use parks, duties include checking in campers, selling park permits, enforces park rules, and performs general park maintenance such as restroom cleaning at Pioneer Park, Meinert Park, and Twin Lake Day Use Park and Dune Harbor Park.
