Dune Ecology Program at Dune Harbor Park!
June 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a beach day!
Explore the incredible variety of life found along the shores of Lake Michigan—both on the sand and in the water—and investigate why these species call the coast home.
We’ll let our curiosity lead the way as we search for plants, animals, and aquatic creatures, all while learning what makes the Lake Michigan shoreline so unique—even on a global scale.
We’ll meet at Dune Harbor Park in the Lincoln Lot and follow the North Lake Trail to the Dune Harbor Beach Access Point (about a 20-minute walk). Don’t forget to bring water and sun protection!
Event Date & Time:
Sunday, June 7th, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
What to bring:
• Sunscreen
• Water Bottles
• Close-toe shoes recommended
