Moore Park spans 36 acres of rolling hills, woodlands, wetlands, and grassy open spaces along 1,500 feet of shoreline on Half Moon Lake. A popular destination for fishing, boating, swimming, and picnicking, the park features picnic tables, grills, restrooms, and an unimproved boat launch. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water or explore the natural beauty of Muskegon County, Moore Park offers a peaceful retreat for outdoor enthusiasts.

Park Accessibility
We are seeking funds to enhance accessibility at Moore Park. We have several projects, including a new accessible bathroom, ADA play equipment, and an improved boat launch with an added skid pier that we would like to implement when funds are secured.
Dog Rules
While on County Park Property:
- Dogs must be under the immediate control of a competent person by means of a leash not exceeding six feet in length.
- Dogs must be supervised and kept quiet at all times.
- Animal feces must be picked up and properly deposited in dumpsters.
- Animals are not permitted in park buildings or park beaches unless it is a service dog for individuals with disabilities.
- Animals who are known to be vicious or dangerous to other park visitors and animals are also not allowed.
