Nestled among towering oak trees, Twin Lake Park is a 15-acre day-use park perfect for outdoor recreation. With 800 feet of waterfront along Twin Lake, visitors can enjoy swimming, picnicking, and boating. The park features a barrier-free playground, tennis/pickleball courts, and a volleyball area for family-friendly fun.
Twin Lake Park offers two covered picnic pavilions and a picnic lodge that can be reserved in advance. The nearby concession stand also provides ice cream and several food options during the season for the perfect summer picnic!

Park Fees
A Muskegon County Motor Vehicle Entry Permit or “Park Pass” is required for all vehicles entering Twin Lake County Park from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Park Accessibility
In addition to our barrier-free playground, we currently seeking funds to enhance accessibility at Twin Lake Park and have several projects planned. These include increasing the number of ADA parking spaces and improving the boat launch and skid pier.
Dog Rules
While on County Park Property:
- Dogs must be under the immediate control of a competent person by means of a leash not exceeding six feet in length.
- Dogs must be supervised and kept quiet at all times.
- Animal feces must be picked up and properly deposited in the trash.
- Animals are not permitted in park buildings or park beaches unless it is a service dog for individuals with disabilities, or if otherwise posted.
- Animals who are known to be vicious or dangerous to other park visitors and animals are also not allowed.

The Twin Lake Picnic Lodge is a charming and historic venue for family reunions, graduation parties, and other large gatherings. Built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1936, the lodge highlights exceptional wood craftsmanship from that era.
The lodge features picnic table seating inside to accommodate up to 100 people, a kitchen with stove/oven, sink, refrigerator, and multiple electrical outlets, making food preparation convenient. A stage adds a unique touch to events and entertainment. Restrooms, a playground, and the beach are just a short walk away, ensuring easy access to park amenities.

Two picnic shelters along the lakeshore provide a scenic setting for small group gatherings. Each shelter accommodates up to 60 people and conveniently includes a large park grill and electrical outlets. Reservations are available for those planning a special event.
